Who we are and how did we get here?
Daz – “Since time began and Cavemen had caves, I’ve been working in the roofing industry for some of the big players, gaining knowledge with products and learning along the way. I’ve been working in roofing merchants for a long time and have built up a customer base that i also call friends. Eventually I decided it was my time to set up my own business and with a little help from close family and friends here we are today – Northern Roofing Supplies (Leeds) Ltd was born, still in its infancy (5 years old) we’ve expanded to bigger premises and have expanded our offering to meet the demands of our friends and new customers. I enjoy providing a service second to none and working with the Team on a daily basis”.
“In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and family (kids and grand kids – time certainly does fly!), holidays in the sun and cars”.
Dan – “I’ve been here for 5 years now, I got into roofing as a labourer when i left school and eventually got the opportunity to follow in my Dad’s foot steps after helping out here and there as a kid and officially joined the team. I have learnt a lot over the years and there’s still lots to learn but I am confident helping our customers with their pitched and flat roofing needs. Knowing the products we offer I am able to give advice on most if not all areas”.
“In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, running around after the kids with their Rugby/ Football matches, I also enjoy trips to the coast and chilling out when possible. I’m also interested in wartime history, visiting land marks and getting a real feel for what happened and why it happened.”
Jaimes – “I started working in the roofing trade in the early 2000’s, working for a distribution company supplying roofing membranes, DPC’s and Gas Barrier Systems all over the UK. We then moved into manufacturing Liquid Coating Systems for below ground and roofing applications. I then set up my own business as a flat roofing contractor and have worked with some big companies fighting the endless battle that is keeping buildings water free. I then got an opportunity to join the team at Northern Roofing Supplies and have been passing on my knowledge and helping contractors with their flat roofing queries”
“In my spare time, i enjoy time with the Kids and am a keen Carp Angler, I’ve fished some great lakes in France and have even been on the mighty St Lawrence River in Canada”.
